RestLab 101 was created for you. When you're incredibly productive, strong, kind, and making sh*t happen, people perceive you as superhuman -- but you aren't. The problem is you've been going 100 mph for so long you've forgotten how to slow down.
Or maybe you're afraid to slow down. Maybe it feels like you can't. Maybe it feels like a punishment to pause. But the pause is the point. You're human. Rest is how you learn to remind yourself and others of your dazzling humanity. If you've ever wanted a gentle entry to rest, this is for you.
This 90 minute class is designed to get you to understand some of the missing pieces to the puzzle of "how do I rest?" You'll learn the key foundational concepts of rest, our rest method, and how to put it all together into a practice that works for you.
We teach rest as a skill with different components that we want to build upon. This class is meant to be an introduction to help you reflect on what rest looks like in your life.
It was designed from over four years of experience coaching bleeding hearts across industries: non-profit, small business, tech, events, mental health, arts, medicine, and more.

Our class is broken into three segments: your rest, your keys, and your blocks.
In Your Rest we build a foundational understanding of what rest actually is.
In Your Keys we help you get present to the life you have right now and give you the practical techniques you need to get better rest.
In Your Blocks we help you clarify the changes you need to make to maintain the rest you want.
You'll leave with a plug-in rest formula worksheet to guide you turning better rest into a practice and habit you can maintain.

OPENING
Welcome & Calming Exercise
We open with a comforting transition into our time together, a tech overview of best practices, a quick overview of what we'll be learning, and then a calming exercise to prepare us for class.
FIRST HALF
Your Rest & Your Keys
Then we transition into the meat of our time together. We lay the framework with foundational concepts about rest to help you better understand how things work together. Then we start with the first four keys to better rest. We'll take a brief break after a few reflection prompts.
SECOND HALF
Your Keys (cont'd) & Your Blocks
We return and learn the last four keys to better rest. Then we start on the next section, understanding what's getting in the way of your rest in the blocks section. We end this section with reflection prompts.
CLOSING
Review & Breathing Exercise
We do a quick review of what you learned, give you instructions for your worksheet, and close with a calming exercise so you can continue to rest after class.
